Office/Finance Coordinator - Dallas, TX

The Greater Dallas FCA office seeks to fill a position for Office/Finance Coordinator.  This is a full-time position in a fast paced office where general bookkeeping and administrative support for the Executive Director will be the primary duties.

The person filling this position will model the FCA Values of Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence while serving the staff and representing FCA both internally and externally.

Specific duties will include:

*  check deposits, bank reconciliation
*  cash flow and P/L statements
*  bill pay and invoicing for fundraising events
*  purchase order preparation and maintenance
*  staff fundraising and monthly updates
*  registrar for local events and fundraisers
*  CRM database input/oversight
*  letter preparation, mailings, printing projects, etc.
*  reconcile contribution and G/L reports from National Office
*  order supplies, equipment repairs, etc.

Candidates must present a professional appearance and attitude, exhibit flexibility and have a strong work ethic while being a team player.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Quickbooks will be required.

Area Representative - Midwest Florida


A full-time Area Representative is sought to serve Midwest Florida. There are 4 counties in the Midwest FL (Ocala) area: Marion, Citrus, Hernando and Sumpter and each has active FCA ministry in the schools.
 
Candidates should have a clear calling from God to minister to athletes and coaches, a servant's heart and a passion for seeing lives changed through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Candidates must model the FCA core values of integrity, serving, teamwork and excellence.

The Area Representative will develop the 4 C's (Coaches, Campus, Camps and Community).  While some funds are in place it will be the Area Representative's responsibility to raise additional and sustaining funds.

A partial list of duties includes developing a supportive board, mentoring student leaders, leading coaches bible studies and promoting summer camps.

Female Area Representative - Northern Middle Tennessee

A full-time female Area Representative is sought to serve in Northern Middle Tennessee. There are approximately 38 schools (middle school through community college) in Sumner, Robertson, Macon and Trousdale Counties. The Area Representative position will develop the 4 C's (Coaches, Campus, Camps and Community). A partial list of duties include:
  • leading Coaches Bible Studies
  • mentoring student leaders on campus
  • organize team chapels
  • work and promote summer camps
  • attend board meetings
  • build relationships in the community

Candidates should have a clear calling from God to minister to athletes and coaches and must model the FCA core values of integrity, serving, teamwork and excellence.

Personal ministry support must be raised prior to employment and substantial training will be provided the right candidate. In addition, there are 2 major fundraisers in the area each year - a golf scramble in the spring and a banquet in the fall.

Area Representative - Austin and Central, TX

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Austin/Central Texas has an opening for the position of Area Representative with a hire date of July 1.
Qualified individuals should have a clear calling from God to minister to athletes and coaches, a servant's heart and a passion for seeing lives changed through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The person hired for this full-time position must model the FCA core values of integrity, serving, teamwork and excellence.
The person hired will be one of 2-3 Area Representatives in the Austin/Central Texas area. The area is currently well developed with close to 35 sanctioned huddles including middle schools, high schools as well as several universities including the University of Texas. The selected person will be able to relate well to coaches, school administrators and students and will be responsible for training, equipping and encouraging coaches and student leaders at assigned campuses. The Area Representative will also be involved each summer with the Texas FCA camping program as well as local game day events and Fields of Faith events. The area currently receives strong support from a number of churches both financially as well as volunteers. In addition, the selected person will help coordinate Coaches Bible Studies as well as chaplain programs that already exist. This person will also be working closely with a group of donors to provide support for area fundraising and community events, and help cultivate new donors and new churches to partner with.

Area Representative - Memphis, TN


The Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Memphis, TN has an immediate opening in the position of Area Representative.

Qualified individuals should have a clear calling from God to minister to athletes and coaches, a servant's heart and a passion for seeing lives changed through a personal relationship with Jesus christ. The person hired for this full-time position must model the FCA core values of integrity, serving, teamwork and excellence.

The person hired will be one of three Area Representatives in the Memphis and Shelby County, TN area, with this position having particular emphasis on ministry to male coaches and athletes in urban middle and high schools. The selected person will be able to relate well to coaches, school administrators and students and will be responsible for training, equipping and encouraging coaches and student leaders at assigned campuses. He will also help coordinate local camps and clinics in partnership with area churches and assist in the recruitment and positioning of volunteers to serve in the area’s “Character Coach” program. In addition, the selected person will help coordinate Coaches Bible Studies, provide support for area fundraising and community events, and help cultivate donors and partner churches.

Area Director - Southwest Minnesota

Minnesota FCA is looking to hire an Area Director for Southwest Minnesota. This position is full-time reporting directly to the Minnesota State Director and will serve the Southwest area which includes: Gustavus Adolphus College, Minnesota State University, Southern Minnesota State University as well as middle schools and high schools in the Minnesota Valley area. The major city in the area is Mankato and it is preferred the new Director will reside within the Southwest area.

The Area Director develops the 4 C's of FCA Ministry (Coaches, Campus, Camps and Community) by ensuring the growth, training, development and longevity of the local FCA ministry staff. The Area Director will supervise four full/part-time staff members located in the area. A leadership Board will need to be formed, trained and encouraged and a number of donors have indicated an interest in serving.  Additionally, the Area Director is responsible for ensuring the ongoing financial resources are in place to support the area.  While fund development is a responsibility, a solid base of support for this position already exists.

The Area Director will be accountable to ensure the FCA Ministry is conducted according to biblical standards and adheres to FCA policies and procedures.

National Director of Communications - Kansas City, MO

FCA's National Support Center in Kansas City, Missouri, is actively seeking candidates for the position of National Director of Communications.  Reporting to the EVP Communications, this is a multi-faceted position that requires someone with strong leadership, strategic and teamwork skills and a passion for sports and the FCA ministry.  Qualified candidates will have an in-depth understanding and experience in multi-channel communications in order to more effectively cultivate relationships, foster spiritual growth and facilitate long-term engagement with FCA.

The position synergistically works within the Communications and Events Department (Marketing, the FCA magazine, National Events, Donor Services) as well as with all other departments and more closely with Ministry Programs, Digital Ministry and IT.

Area Representative - Houston, Peach, Macon, Crawford and Taylor Counties, GA

The GA/SC Flint River FCA is seeking candidates for the position of Area Representative. The primary focus of the Area Representative is to identify, evaluate, recruit, train, equip and encourage staff and leadership boards with the ultimate goal of expanding the kingdom of God.
The individual selected will be able to relate well to students, coaches, and school administrators while serving the public and private high schools, middle schools, and colleges with a passion for leadership and development. The individual selected will also have the ability and willingness to directly raise funds from personal contacts in helping to build a solid financial base for the local FCA area. FCA’s Ministry is through the 4C’s, Coaches, Campus, Camps and Community. FCA’s Vision is “To see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches."

All counties combined include 1 university, 10 high schools and 12 middle schools.

Area Representative - Greater Fort Worth TX

Greater Fort Worth FCA serves 12 counties in North Central Texas and wants to expand by adding 3 additional Area Representatives. 

The Area Representative position develops the 4C’s of FCA Ministry (Coaches, Campus, Camps, Community) by ensuring the growth, training, development and longevity of the local FCA Ministry staff.

Area Director - Spokane, Washington

Pacific Northwest FCA will be hiring an Area Director for Spokane, WA.  This position will report directly to the VP of Field Ministries and the ideal candidate will reside in the Greater Spokane area. 
Spokane is the home of Whitworth and Gonzaga University along with a public school system serving roughly 30,000 students in 6 high schools, 6 middle schools and 34 elementary schools.

The new Director will serve the Spokane area as well as portions of Central Valley, Mead and West Valley School Districts.  This position develops the 4C's of FCA Ministry (Coaches, Campus, Camps and Community) by ensuring the growth, training, development and longevity of the local FCA Ministry Staff.  Qualified individuals should have a clear calling from God to minister to athletes and coaches, a servant's heart and a passion for seeing lives changed through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  The person hired for this full-time position must model the FCA core values of integrity, serving, teamwork and excellence.

Area Representative - Philadelphia, PA

The Greater Philadelphia Fellowship of Christian Athletes is announcing a full-time staff opportunity to serve Christ as an Area Representative. This position serves the inner city of Philadelphia by offering support to existing huddles and growing the awareness and impact of the ministry in the city.

The person filling this position will uphold and promote all aspects of FCA ministry in the city. This starts by modeling the FCA core values of integrity, serving, teamwork and excellence, and continues by developing the 4C’s of FCA Ministry (Coaches, Campus, Camps and Community). The area has a history of ministry to professional, college and high school athletes and Coaches. There remains a tremendous potential for growth in all areas of the ministry.

Candidates will enjoy responsibilities of campus ministry; building relationships with coaches, student leaders, and area donors; recruiting, developing and working with a Leadership Board of volunteers; and being available to serve the local churches.  Qualified individuals will have a solid walk with Christ, a clear calling from God to minister to athletes and coaches, and a servant’ heart and a passion for seeing lives changed through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Some funds have been raised for this position to help the person become established in the ministry. The person hired will be responsible for helping raise additional ongoing funding.  This will be done under the supervision and training of the Area Director.  

Requirements include: A willingness to commit to serving for at least two years, having an athletic background, strong recruiting skills, a desire to see the growth of FCA in the area and the ability to work as a teammate with current staff. Preference will be given to candidates with prior FCA campus and/or coaches ministry experience.

Area Representative - Prince William County, VA

The Virginia Battlefield Area Fellowship of Christian Athletes is announcing a full-time staff opportunity to serve Christ as an Area Representative in Prince William County, Virginia.  Prince William (PW) County is located 30 minutes south of Washington, DC and has a population of 300,000 people and 50 middle and high schools.  While the area has some history of FCA ministry, there remains incredible potential for growth. 


Area Representative will steward the 4 C’s: Coaches, Campus, Camp, and Community.  Candidate should be a self-starter, willing to work with minimal supervisory oversight, adept at building relationships with coaches, student athlete leaders, and area donors, developing and working with a Leadership Board of volunteers, and partnering with local churches.


Some funds have been raised for this position and the person hired will be responsible for helping raise additional ongoing funding. Candidates should consider a minimum commitment of 3 years to this position to see a foundation established.


The individual chosen to fill this position will have a solid walk with Christ, a clear calling from God to minister to coaches and athletes, and a vision and fervency for seeing lives changed through a relationship with Jesus Christ, will be passionate about FCA, able to communicate vision and implement strategic plans, and be able to build a strong team.  He/she must be able to inspire, equip, and mobilize others to fulfill the FCA vision and must also be particularly skilled in developing the resources, both people and financial, necessary to accomplish FCA’s mission. 

Preference will be given to candidates with a sports background, prior FCA leadership experience, and desire to see the ministry reflect the diversity of the area.  Salary and benefits are negotiable.
